Then come along to the second instalment of BISA’s Industry Insights Workshop Series: Introduction to Python for Data Science with CBA!

Data scientist has been named “the sexiest job of the 21st century” by the Harvard Business School, and being able to use data and communicate effectively is a required skill in many jobs these days. All students are recommended to attend, whether you have heard of Python or not, with the objective to provide an accessible (yet comprehensive) view of coding in the business environment, particularly for data science.
Workshop agenda (tentative):
– Introduction to Data Science and Python
– Use cases of data science within CBA
– Q&A Session with CBA
– Live demo on Python Environment (Jupyter Notebook) and libraries such as Pandas and Seaborn
– Hands-on coding exercises through guided materials (suitable for all beginners), with a focus on data visualisation
You will not need to bring a laptop. However, to ensure you have a computer please register ASAP (link above)!
You’ll also have the opportunity to network with representatives from CBA and ask any questions you have about data science and Python!
