DESCRIPTION:RSVP at usergroups.tableau.com/usyd\nData skills are so hot and in demand these days… but how do you actually get started and learn about it? Now is the time to add visual analytics to your skillsets without needing to code. \nTableau is named the leader in the Gartner Report for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms. You will learn from a Tableau ambassador about how Tableau can be leveraged to create visualisations and interactive dashboards\, using a real-life dataset. There will also be opportunities to network with representatives from Tableau. \nWho should attend this workshop?\nEveryone who is interested in working with data. Anyone who wants to analyse and visualise data. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t heard of Tableau or are currently taking a unit that uses Tableau (e.g. INFS3110/INFS6018/INFS6023). No programming is involved. \nDate: Tuesday\, 17th March\nTime: 5.30pm – 7.30pm\nLocation: ABS Lecture Theatre 1110 \nThe workshop will be mostly hands-on\, so you must bring your laptop and download Tableau (free student license\, see below) BEFORE the workshop to get the most out of it! \n—————————————————————————– \nBefore the workshop:\n1.
